The details of journals and electronic journals are shown.

The details are shown by tapping or clicking a material title in the result list or bookmark list. Tapping or clicking a material title in paper information or paper details also shows the details of the corresponding material in which the paper is placed.

In the page for material details, various information, links and buttons are shown.

Common information

The following information does not vary even through issues or volumes are different. They are shown as the common information. Some are not shown depending on the library settings, material types and users’ login status.

Material information (condensed)

The title, how to read the title (only in Japanese), editing organization, editions, first/last issue and other outlines of the journal are shown. The items to be shown vary depending on the library settings.

Material type

The material type and its image are shown.

Control buttons

The control buttons available for the material are shown. The buttons vary depending on the material type, library settings and your status.

Holdings

When journal details are shown:

The list of journals held in the library is shown. The information includes the start and end years of holding, volume/issue numbers, call IDs, locations, continuity of subscription and others. The contents vary depending on the library settings.
Tapping or clicking the location link opens the map of the material location.

When details of particular volumes/issues are shown:

When the journal has different volumes or issues, [See other volumes] is shown. Tapping or clicking it shows the volume/issue list or past issue information.

Volumes and issues

The information of each volume/issue is shown. The information varies depending on the library settings, material types and users’ login status.

Volume/issue list and past issues

The details include the list of volumes/issues and past issues of the journal. For details of how to use the list or search past issues, refer to If you want to view other volumes/issues of the material. The contents shown for each volume/issue are the same as the following:

Volumes and issues

The year of publication and the volume/issue are shown. Tapping or clicking a volume/issue in the list shows the material details.

Resources

The information set by the library are shown such as locations, call numbers, material IDs, the number of users in the reservation list and binding status. The information varies depending on the library settings.

Control buttons

The buttons are shown for controlling the volumes and issues in the list. The buttons vary depending on the material types, library settings and your status.

Material details

The details of the journal are shown. The information items vary depending on the library settings.

If you can tap or click organizations, item titles, old titles and other information items, the corresponding information is shared with the relevant materials. Tapping or clicking them opens the list of the relevant materials.

Relevant information

The materials related to the journal are shown in a list. Tapping or clicking the title or image icon in the list opens its details.

Tap or click the icons [<] or [>] to turn the pages. Tapping or clicking [Go back to top] jumps to the information shown first.

The list shows the following information, which may vary depending on the library settings.

New arrivals

The newly arrived materials related to the journal are shown.

Viewing material details

For the information items shown in the page, refer to Contents.

The table of contents registered for the journal is shown. Tapping or clicking an item link in the table shows the details of the corresponding material.

Electronic journals

The [Show electronic data] button is shown for the material that can be shown online. Tap or click the button to view it.

The material is reserved to borrow. Login to LIMEDIO is required.

Borrowing or photocopying the material held in other organizations is requested to the library. Login to LIMEDIO is required.

If you want to view other volumes/issues of the material

When the journal has different volumes or issues, [See other volumes] is shown. Tapping or clicking the button shows the volume/issue list of the corresponding journal.

You may also view the information of all the volumes and issues in a list, and the list is used to search the past issues of the journal.

Operations for the volume/issue list

In the volume/issue list, the number of materials shown in a page can be changed. If a list is shown in two or more pages, use the [|<], [«], [»] and [>|] buttons. Click the buttons to turn the pages.

Tapping or clicking a volume/issue number shows its details.

Showing the past issues

The volume/issue list is used to search the past issues of the specified publication years/dates or volume/issue numbers.
